You cannot communicate with people according to where you think they should be in the cycle but according to where they are. Know where they are and communicate in terms they understand.
You cannot assume life change based strictly on gifts and abilities. Everyone must experience the true progression of life change.
You cannot assume people know how to change on their own. There must be a clear process for them to follow at every stage.
Sustained service comes from identity, not compulsion. It is not enough to call people to service. For us to live our mission the people must embrace the identity of a service.
You can
't call people to life change if you are not personally experiencing it.
