What is FEPI

The Faith Emergency Preparedness Initiative (FEPI) is a vital program designed to connect local churches with community needs during emergencies and disasters. FEPI focuses on supporting the local church by facilitating effective outreach and networking. Our role is to identify the resources, facility, volunteers, and most importantly, a 24-hour contact from each church that participates.  This enables Bridges of Love to facilitate a quick and effective response when an expected disaster strikes.

Be Part of a Movement Shaping the Future

Churches often play a critical role in disaster response, offering vital support and care to those affected. However, many churches are unsure of how to best leverage their resources in times of crisis. FEPI bridges this gap by providing the following benefits:

  • Effective Matching: We work to understand each church’s available resources and facilities, then match them with community needs identified during emergencies.

  • Streamlined Coordination: Collaborate with government agencies such as Alberta NGO Council and other organizations to assess community needs and organize an effective response.

  • Enhanced Outreach: Enable churches to contribute meaningfully to disaster relief efforts, ensuring that their outreach efforts are well-coordinated and impactful.
