Love is Action
OUR VISION
Bridges of Love's mission to empower communities through practical emergency preparedness and response initiatives was founded on the belief that every individual and organization can play a crucial role in disaster management, turning moments of crisis into opportunities for compassionate action and community cohesion. Our purpose is to connect and coordinate community members and local churches with the resources and training necessary to effectively respond to disasters, to ensure no one faces disaster alone.

OUR PROJECT
"The Power of Civil Society,
Moving at the Speed of Trust"
When disaster strikes—whether it's a wildfire, flood, or earthquake—the strain on local resources can be overwhelming. In these critical moments, our programs become a lifeline.

Bridges of Love has three main PROGRAMS that support communities:

-
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) – CERT Training equips individuals to effectively and safely respond to emergencies/disasters.
-
Faith Emergency Preparedness Initiative (FEPI) – Bridges of Loves extensive church database allows information for a 24 hr. contact, resources, volunteers, and facility for a quick response when disaster strikes.
-
Alberta Recovers – Facilitates recovery efforts by linking online, donors with disaster victims.
