DENISE HILL DIRECTOR
Denise is pleased to come on the Board of the Bridges of Love Ministry. She has followed Marg's passionate path for many years and has always been greatly impressed by her perseverance to continue on the path God has called her to. After moving from Calgary, she and her husband have lived in High River for fifteen years. Denise has two grown children of whom she is very proud, both having two children each. She also has one great-grandchild who lives in Halifax.
Denise has been the bookkeeper for her church since 2008, and the Prayer Coordinator for 17 years. As such, she feels a calling to support Bridges of Love Ministry in prayer. She believes that prayer is the backbone to any ministry, and this is no exception.

Tom Pollon's career began in the broadcasting field working with SAIT, CTV, Ryerson, Canadian Cablesystems Engineering, Sony, and Precision Sound. After retiring from full-time employment he spent 4 years as part of the Communication Department Telephone Team with Samaritan's Purse.
Tom has developed Bridges of Love's two websites along with videos. His heart and passion lies in serving the Lord through the vision and work of Bridges of Love Ministry and he appreciates the opportunity to work alongside his wife of over 50 years!
Marg became a follower of Christ through the outreach efforts of a Scarborough Church. She has worked in the medical field as a Laboratory Technologist, owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast, served as a church administrator, and worked for a compassionate agency. Her involvement in each of these endeavors prepared her for this God-ordained quest, building Bridges of Love. She was involved in many volunteer activities while living in Calgary and is now serving in High River, AB.
Marg received the Chamber of Volunteer Organizations, Innovative Award (2012), Queen Elizabeth 11 Diamond Jubillee Medal (2012) and the Prime Minister's Volunteer Social Innovator Award for the Prairies (2014), and most recently (2018) Public Safety Canada's Emergency Management Exemplary Service Award.
Marg and her husband, Tom have three grown children and are very proud grandparents of Hannah, Jaxson, Aliyah, & Toby.
Sandy is a native Calgarian, who has enjoyed many unexpected adventures in life. The opportunity to join the Board of Bridges of Love is her newest one. While employed as Office Manager at her church, she was introduced to Marg's organization and stayed connected with Marg.
Sandy and her husband live on an acreage just outside of Calgary and have two grown boys and two beautiful young grand-daughters. She has been a music teacher, homeschooled her boys, ran a used bookstore, wrote articles for Today's Business Woman's Magazine, and a myriad of other ventures.
Her desire is to see this God-ordained organization grow strongly, as it endeavors to prepare Albertans for any disaster.

Tom Pollon joined Bridges of Love after retirement in 2018. Tom's background was a good fit for joining Bridges of Love's team due to his technical experience in radio and television broadcasting. Tom has been the backbone of website production and maintenance and looks forward to continuing to serve through this ministry.
FOUNDING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Marg Pollon founded Bridges of Love in 2003 with a vision to provide tools and resources for the local church to connect with the community in which it is found. Pandemic Preparedness became the connecting bridge in 2005 and later broadened to include any disaster with Community Emergency Response Team equipping volunteers to be better prepared to assist. Marg & Tom are the proud parents of three very accomplished children and four wonderful grandchildren.
